John Daly has once again proven to the public that he is out-of-control, as he has announced that he has be suspended for 6 months from the PGA Tour for conduct that brought unwelcomed publicity. While commenting on his suspension, he stated that “Is it fair that I got suspended? It’s not fair in reality, but it’s probably fair in perception.” This is the second suspension fromt hat PGA Tour that he has been ordered to serve. The incident that warrented his current suspension occurred in October, when he was found intoxicated in front of a Hooters in North Carolina and was taken to jail for the night in order to sleep it off. A photo of him in jail later surfaced and spread like wildfire around the internet. Daly went on to say that “The picture didn’t help, People think I got arrested when I didn’t get arrested. It is what it is. I’ve got to deal with it and go on. Whatever reason the tour has, maybe a positive will come out of this.”

Over the years, the charismatic Daly has become known more for his off-course antics then his game. His career highlights include his two major victories in the PGA Championship and the British Open.
