After 3 rounds of the Qatar Masters, it’s the Spaniard Alvaro Quiros that moved into the lead after shooting a nearly flawless round of 64. He is at -16 through 54 holes, which matches the tournament record set by Paul Lawrie in 1999. After the round, Quiros said “I have to be honest, today wasn’t a great day with the ball-striking. I holed so many good putts. I missed two or three, but I’m still in contention.” Quiros’ closest competitor is Louis Oosthuizen, who is one shot back.

World number 2 and Race to Dubai Leader, Sergio Garcia, also had an impressive third round, as he shot a 67, which moved him to 6th place at 9-under.
