Marion Bartoli looked fantastic in her victory over Jelena Jankovic, but it all came to an end today, as she was routed by seventh seeded Vera Zvonareva 6-3, 6-0. Bartoli had a 3-1 lead in the first, but she looked both mentally and physically drained, which only got worse as the match progressed. Zvonareva, on the other hand, did not seem to be affected by the 106 F and, in fact, she looked to be on her game. Bartoli had only nine winners compared to twenty-six unforced errors, which allowed Zvonareva to take complete control of the match.

In the semifinals, Vera Zvonareva will next face the winner of the Dinara Safina-Jelena Dokic match, which will be played later tonight.
