Sebastien Loeb Wins in Norway

In the past, Sebastien Loeb’s only weakness seemed to be snowy roads, on which he has historically struggled. This week, however, he was able to conquer the snow and win Rally Norway, thus extending his lead to six points. He finished in 3 hours, 28 minutes, and 15.9 seconds, which was 9.8 seconds quicker than the second place Mikko Hirvonen. Jari-Matti Latvala finished in third.

After the race, Loeb said that “This victory was very important for me. Finally we’ve done it. It’s been very difficult mentally to keep pushing to the end and know that you could lose everything at the last corner of the last stage. It’s a lot more exciting when you win with a battle like this. Mikko has had a really great rally and I had to push on the limit from the first to the last stage.

For those of you who haven’t seen a WRC race, here are some highlight videos of Rally Norway!
