Penguins Win 5 in a Row

Sidney Crosby by Thebeev. With Sidney Crosby back in the lineup, the Pittsburgh Penguins continued their winning ways, by defeated the Florida Panthers 4-1. Crosby scored a goal in his first game since being sidelined with a groin injury and Tyler Kennedy scored twice in the third, insuring Pittsburgh their fifth win in a row.

Marc-Andre Fleury joked that “We were 4-0 without him, so we were going to tell him to stay home. No, he’s an important player, he’s our captain, a good leader, a good worker. It’s good to have him back.”

It’s all smiles for the Penguins who are 7-1-1 under new coach Dan Bylsma and were 10-3-1 in their last 14 games. With 16 games remaining the season, the Penguins have hope making the playoffs, as they are currently 8th in the Eastern Conference with 74 points (tied with Florida and the NY Rangers).
