Tiger Tames Bay Hill, Wins the Arnold Palmer Invitational

A Winner again by shareski.Tiger Woods started the day down by five shots, but he roared back to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational by birding the last hole. It was clear that Tiger was not at his best for most of the day, and yet he was still able to defeat Sean O’Hair, who looked sick to his stomach when he rolled in his par putt, already knowing that he had been defeated.

This is Tiger’s first win since his memorable victory at the U.S. Open last year and his first since his comeback from knee surgery. With the Masters just a few weeks away, Tiger must feel great about his chances.

Below, I have the video of Tiger making the winning putt. Listen hard and you will hear a guy in the background going “Are you kidding me? Unbelievable. Are you kidding me? Oh my God. Are you kidding me?” It’s priceless! I guess Tiger has that affect on people.

Thanks for the post sportsaholic, Tiger is back! I think people might enjoy this list, since Tiger and Arnold Palmer are both on it. I’m not sure if Byron Nelson’s record of 18 single season records will ever be broken.
