ATP Rome: Nadal Defeats Nole

Rafael Nadal easily defeated Novak Djokovic in the Rome final 7-6(2), 6-2. Nadal looked unbeatable, particularly in the second set, in which he hit several incredible shots that left Djokovic puzzled. Often times, Djokovic just stood and watched the ball pass by for a winner, as you can see in this video of the match point.

Even though Djokovic didn’t win, he was still able to be his usual funny self, as he imitated Nadal during the trophy ceremony.

Djokovic’s loss ensures that Andy Murray will take over the number 3 ranking in the world on May 11.
