The Ohio St Buckeyes ruled in Pasadena, when they defeated the Oregon Ducks 26-17 in the Rose Bowl. The Buckeyes’ offense pressured the Ducks’ defense throughout the game and finally gave them more than they could handle in the fourth quarter, when they scored a game-winning touchdown off of a 17-yd pass from Terrelle Pryor to DeVier Posey. Pryor was 23/37 for 266 yds, 2 touchdowns, and 1 int. Before the game, there was talk about a knee injury, but Pryor stopped that chatter as he was able to run for a team-high 72 yds. Pryor was the MVP of the game.

Oregon’s offense, on the other hand, was never really able to get going. Jeremiah Masoli was 9/20 for 81 yds, 0 touchdowns, and 1 int, though he did get 1 rushing touchdown. The other Ducks’ touchdown came courtesy of LeGarrette Blount who stretched over the goal line to put 6 on the board for his team.
