Valentino Rossi Injured, Will Complete in Malaysia

Details of Valentino Rossi’s injury and his status have been described in a statement on the official MotoGP website. 

“The Italian received stitches to his left hand and foot before flying out to Sepang for the official MotoGP test, a result of his falling on to a glass table when closing the curtains at home. Rossi´s left ring finger and the sole of his foot were cut when the table broke.”

The MotoGP season will begin on April 12 in Qatar.

Shaun White Has a Ride for the Ages

Historically, Shaun White has owned the Slopestyle competition, but today he showed the true extent of his domination. White had the highest scoring run in X Games history  (96.00) en route to his record-setting 5th Slopestyle gold medal. He also set the record for number of Winter X medals (12) and Winter X gold medals (8).

White’s fellow American Scotty Lago got the silver and Norwegian Mikkel Bang got the bronze.

White will be competing later tonight in the SuperPipe elimination round.

Robbie Madison has been known for his big jumps; but, yesterday he took it to the next level, as he jumped up and over the Arc de Triumph outside of the Paris Casino in Las Vegas. If you didn’t get a chance to see the record-breaking jump last night, take a look. You have to see it to believe it.
