Manchester United Bounced From FA Cup

Jermaine Beckford scored in the 19th minute to lead Leeds United over rival Manchester United. The win, which is one of their biggest ever, bounced Man U from the FA Cup. It is their first defeat to a lower league team in FA Cup during all of Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign. Man U’s Wayne Rooney seemed to be the only player capable of attacking Leeds’ defense, but he was never able to get the goal that they so desperately needed.

Other FA Cup scores:

Arsenal 2-1 over West Ham United

Sheffield United 1-1 Queens Park Rangers

Chelsea 5-0 over Watford

FA Cup: Liverpool-Reading Highlights

Liverpool has struggled lately, which was obvious as they struggled to get a 1-1 draw against Reading. Liverpool has already been bounced from Champions League play and are not in Premier League contention. Liverpool’s defense was sloppy and Reading’s Simon Church took advantage by scoring at 24 mins. It was Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard that scored at 36 mins and spared his club from what would have been an embarrassing FA Cup exit.

New G2 Campaign

The new G2 campaign pays homage to Muhammad Ali, while also featuring Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade, Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, tennis player Serena Williams, US soccer player Landon Donovan, US soccer player Abby Wambach, and gymnast Chellsie Memmel.
