BREAKING NFL NEWS: Carroll New Seahawks’ Head Coach, Manning Wins MVP

Former USC head coach Pete Carroll has agreed to become the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks.

Also, Peyton Manning won the MVP award with over 39.5 percent of the vote. Manning ran away with his 4th MVP award.

USC’s Stafon Johnson Accepts Senior Bowl Invite

Just months after his vocal cords and larynx were crushed in a weightlifting accident, USC running back Stafon Johnson has accepted the invitation to play in the Senior Bowl, which will take place on January 30 in Mobile, Alabama. When asked about Johnson, Trojan’s head coach Pete Carroll said “This is a great opportunity for Stafon with all that he’s been through and he’s excited to play with some of the greatest players in the country.”

USC recently profiled Johnson and his determination to succeed is obvious throughout the interview.
