The Wild, Wild East

The Big East is the place to be this season in NCAA men’s college basketball. Today’s Big East clash just goes to show the talent of every single team in the conferance. 11th ranked Syracuse narrowly avoided losing to the University of South Florida, a team who is thought to be one of the worst teams in the Big East. Syracuse won the game 59-54 to go up 2-0 in conferance play.

Another Big East clash is set to take place on Saturday, as 3rd ranked Pittsburgh will play against 11th ranked Georgetown. Both teams are favorites to be the Big East Conferance Champions; but, Georgetown is the more proven team, as they defeated fellow Big East rival, 2nd ranked Connecticut. This will definitely be a showdown between two rival teams; but, don’t be suprised if the Hoyas are victorious in this Big East battle.
